The Second City’s is located at 51 Mercer street Toronto Ontario. It is close to the Rogers Centre and the world famous CN Tower.

The Second City theatre was established on December 16th 1959 in Chicago’s Old Town by Paul Sills: a man who dreamed of bringing comedy and theatre together.
Since The Second City’s debut, they have expanded into several other cities including opening a theatre in Toronto in 1973. The current owner of the Second City theatre is Andrew Alexander.
The current shows include Nut - Cracking Holiday Revenue, Miracle on Mercer street, Improv All - Stars and We’ve Totally (probably) Got This. Second city has constantly been a starting point for many comedians, actors, writers and directors with their unique training program.
The Second City theatre has taken a big role in show business with producing shows such as SC TV, Second City Present’s, Next Comedy Legend, and the film “The Monitors”.
With Toronto’s wide range of theatre experiences, Second City continues to stand-out with their casual, comic atmosphere, which makes Second City and Toronto unique!
The Second City is for people of all ages, but it targets the adult age group the most.
